The Lone Star State - also called Texas

Hi there fellows! How ya doin?

Well we´re great! We've been here in Texas for three awesome days. The driving distance from Arizona to Texas was 991 miles (1585 km) which would take 15 hours to drive so we had to make a stop on the way and check into a hotel for a night to get some rest. The day after we continued our trip to Texas and we finally arrived in the morning, 3rd of July. It has been very warm, around 32-36 degrees every day.

Our planning in Texas looked like this:
3rd of July - we arrive, "check into" the ranch, find a place to eat and check out the ranch
4th of July - we're at the ranch, riding, eating, updating
5th of July - on our way to Houston, check into a hotel, eat in a restaurant and at night, PARTY!

When we were at the ranch Lena was so tired that she didn't want to check out the ranch with us, instead  she sat down somewhere for a little break. When she was sitting there on her own a cowboy with a Texas-dialect named mr Andersen joined her, so she took the opportunity to talk and to ask him a bit about Texas.

Here you can see what mr Andersen said and hear some country-music! :)
